Our Driver Comms are the leading communication earpieces for professional Motorsport. Each pair is manufactured from your own ear impressions to create a precise, secure fit that remains comfortable throughout long race weekends, endurance events and testing sessions. The bespoke design provides superior isolation from harmful engine, wind and track noise while ensuring reliable communication between drivers and their teams.

Rated at 30dB (SNR), the Driver Comms delivers one of the highest levels of attenuation available in a custom communications earpiece. This helps reduce fatigue, protect long-term hearing health and improve concentration, allowing users to stay focused in even the loudest Motorsport environments.

At the heart of the system is a premium single balanced armature speaker, carefully selected to provide outstanding speech intelligibility and detailed audio reproduction. Combined with advanced noise isolation, our Driver Comms ensures critical race communications remain clear and easy to understand, even at high speeds and in extremely noise conditions.

Built specifically for professional motorsport, the Driver Comms features a durable braided cable, with a Kevlar-reinforced internal construction and a range of connector options including Phono, Stilo and LEMO compatibility. Available in a choice of colours and cable lengths, every set is tailored to the exact requirements of the user and their communication system.

Material

Unique to Ultimate and our Driver Comms range, these earplugs are constructed of two different compounds of silicone. We utilise a 40-shore silicone for the main body of the earplugs, combining comfort with adequate strength in order to protect and secure the main components within the earplugs. The ear canal section is manufactured using a clear ultra-soft 25-shore silicone earplug to provide unmatched comfort and flexibility for genuine sustained use.

Cable and Connector Specifications

This product is supplied with the choice of an RCA, 3.5mm (Mono) or Stilo helmet connector. The Stilo helmet connector is a LEMO FFA.00.250.CTAC29 push-pull connector, allowing direct connection into the Stilo ST4 or ST5 helmets. We can also manufacture this product with other specialist connectors for Motorsports (please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements).

RCA and 3.5mm connectors are supplied with a braided cable from the connector to the V Loop. Unfortunately we cannot supply our braided cable with a Stilo helmet connector. There is a choice of red or black braiding if opting for an RCA or 3.5mm connector.

Our standard cable length is 50cm, and this is the total length from the earpiece to the connector. Custom lengths are also available.

Our cables are polyurethane coated which stops the cable reacting to sweat (causing it to go brittle). Kevlar coated strands makes our cable extremely durable and we also utilise a four-point anchor system for added strength. The cable exit is correct out of the earplugs, preventing any snagging issues.
