Our Musicians Plugs are custom moulded earplugs designed specifically for musicians, DJs, sound engineers and music lovers. Featuring interchangeable flat-response filters offering 9dB, 14dB or 22dB attenuation (SNR). Reducing harmful noise while preserving the natural balance and clarity of music.

  • Delivery & Lead Time

    Our standard lead time is approximately 3 weeks from receipt of your ear impressions, but this can be up to 4 weeks during very busy periods.

    We also offer a 4 working day express turnaround for an additional £50, if you need your order urgently. This is 4 working days from receipt of your ear impressions to despatch of your order.

    We use a next day tracked Royal Mail service for all U.K orders except for some accessories which are sent using Royal Mail 48.

    International orders are posted via courier. If you have any specific requests regarding the courier company you’d like us to use, please contact us.

  • Adjustments & Returns

    If you receive your earplugs and are unhappy with the fit or comfort, simply let us know within 30 days of receiving your order and we can make the necessary adjustments free of charge.

    If we are unable to rectify the issue after 2 adjustments, we can manufacture a new set of earplugs free of charge, if you supply a new set of ear impressions.

    We unfortunately do not offer refunds as all our products are completely bespoke.

  • Ear Impressions & Ordering Process

    If you require ear impressions, simply select ‘arrange an appointment for me’ when ordering above.

    Once you have placed an order with us our team will be in touch to organise your ear impression appointment at one of our impression taking partners.

    We have over 300 UK ear impression taking locations across the UK (£30 to £50) or you can visit us at our offices in Petts Wood, Kent (£30) or at one of our events.

    We can now also offer a home visit service (£50) upon special request. This may be helpful if you are looking for swimming earplugs for your children, as lots of audiology clinics do not offer impressions for those aged 18 or under.

Our Musicians Plugs are premium custom moulded earplugs designed specifically for musicians, DJs, sound engineers, venue staff and music enthusiasts who want to protect their hearing without compromising sound quality.

Manufactured from our unique soft medical-grade silicone and custom made from impressions of your ears, they provide a secure, comfortable fit that can be worn for extended periods during rehearsals, performances, concerts and festivals. Unlike standard foam earplugs that can distort music and speech, our Musicians Plugs use flat response ER filters that reduce sound evenly across frequencies, allowing you to hear music naturally while lowering harmful noise levels.

The filters supplied with this product are interchangeable and offer 9dB, 14dB or 22dB of attenuation (SNR). This means these earplugs can be tailored to suit a wide range of listening environments, from orchestral performances and acoustic sessions to live concerts, clubs and loud music venues. The interchangeable filter system allows you to adapt your hearing protection to different situations while maintaining excellent sound clarity.

Available Filter Options

Additional filters can be purchased separately and we even offer a free of charge filter swap service within 30 days. Just simply let us know that you'd like to swap the filters for a different level of protection and return the earplugs and/or filters to us within 30 days.

ER9 Filter

A very good solution to protect your hearing without altering the sound too much

Great product and I only regret not having bought it earlier. I'm a saxophonist and sometimes perform in a loud setup which over the years hasn't always been good for my ears. I met the founder, when he first started, at Ally Pally in the early 2000s and have since renewed my bike plugs. Post your impressions to our manufacturing HQ in Kent with your order number and contact details. If you have ordered from us previously we will have your digital impressions on file already.
