Once you have placed an order with us our team will be in touch to organise your ear impression appointment at one of our impression taking partners.

We have over 300 UK ear impression taking locations across the UK (£30 to £50) or you can visit us at our offices in Petts Wood, Kent (£30) or at one of our events.

We can now also offer a home visit service (£50) upon special request. This may be helpful if you are looking for swimming earplugs for your children, as lots of audiology clinics do not offer impressions for those aged 18 or under.

Description

Our Side Sleeper Sleeping Earplugs are specifically designed for people who struggle to find comfortable earplugs while sleeping on their side. Combining a custom-moulded fit with an ultra-soft, low-profile design, they provide effective noise reduction for sleeping without the discomfort often caused by standard generic earplugs. We remove part of the concha from these earplugs, making them more comfortable for side sleepers in comparison to our alternative full shell sleeping earplugs.

Unlike traditional foam plugs or rigid sleep earplugs, these custom side sleeper earplugs are manufactured from an exceptionally soft medical-grade silicone and feature a hollow, flexible construction. This allows the earplugs to compress slightly under pressure, reducing discomfort when your ear is pressed against a pillow throughout the night.

Custom-made to the exact shape of your ears, they create a secure acoustic seal that helps reduce common sleep disturbances such as snoring, traffic noise, noisy neighbours, hotel noise, and general environmental sound. The custom fit also ensures they remain securely in place overnight, even for restless sleepers.

The low-profile design sits flush within the outer ear, making these earplugs ideal for side sleepers who find conventional earplugs bulky or uncomfortable. Their lightweight construction allows for long-term nightly wear without irritation or pressure build-up.

Durable, hygienic, and reusable, these custom sleeping earplugs for side sleepers are easy to clean and built for regular use, offering a premium alternative to disposable foam earplugs.

Ideal for:

  • Side sleepers
  • Snoring partners
  • Light sleepers
  • Shift workers
  • Travel and hotel stays
  • Noisy urban environments

If you're searching for the best earplugs for side sleeping, custom earplugs for sleeping, or a more comfortable solution for reducing noise at night, our Side Sleeper earplugs are designed to deliver all-night comfort and reliable noise reduction.

Please note, our side sleeper earplugs offer 25dB (SNR) of attenuation and generic alternatives may offer superior noise reduction (if they suit your ear shape and you achieve a good seal).

Customer reviews

Silent night side sleepers ear plugs

The initial telephone enquiry was very helpful with good advice. We had the moulds completed at the sidcup office in kent, which was an easy experience. The earplugs were delivered very promptly and well within the agreed time frame. The sound blockage for sleeping is excellent and my wife says they are extremely comfortable…a very happy client. Great job

Oh my word - what a revelation!

Oh my word! These side sleeper ear plugs are an absolute revelation. I’ve tried all sorts in an attempt to get a good night’s sleep, and nothing has felt comfortable, or really worked for me, until now. If, like me, you’re a side sleeper and have struggled to find ear plugs that REALLY work, then your search is over. Thank you so much Ultimate Ear
— Annette Kingswood
