EXCELLENTTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Plugs arrived ahead of schedule and they fit perfectly after I worked out how to get them in. I bought the filtered plugs and had to double check that they actually did something by putting some headphones on and turning the volume up way past what I'd normally listen at. I've only ever had solid molds in the past and I couldn't believe how natural these sounded! Unfortunately the result was earplugs did not work for me (too much wind noise). after great communication with Helen, UE offered to rework the earplugs by double dipping them but with no better results - they did this twice. Finally, I went back to them with some details on the MAX foam plugs I wear, as it was clear the UE plugs just did not penetrate my ear enough in comparison. A few days later, I received a call from Wes (prod mgr) who asked if i could go to their business unit where he would take new impressions. I did go and Wes took two sets of impressions to make sure they were deep enough. True to his word, a few days later the new plugs were delivered. I have now tested them on a long test ride and they work as they should. The addition of the 29db filters means I can hear my Cardo intercom on a lower volume setting supported by good blocking of wind noise. UE further informed me that they have saved digital impressions of the plugs in case I need replacements. Baulked at the cost initially but the impact on my life has been amazing..I just use them for sleep but sleep has been so much better since investing in a pair.
