Description
Bespoke motorcyclist ear plugs, made from our soft ‘squidgy’ material with inserted filters. These plugs are extremely comfortable to wear, and flexible in the ear. These are the most effective and comfortable custom made hearing protection available. With a choice of 2 different levels of attenuation either 23dB or 29dB. Just fit and forget.
As a hearing protection company we recommend the 29dB option for anyone looking to protect their hearing whilst still being able to hear their communication systems. The 23dB option may be more suitable for those who are hard of hearing or those who typically travel at lower speeds.
These are perfect for motorcyclists who would like to use Bluetooth, SatNav, or radio communications whilst riding. A 23dB or 29dB reduction in wind and road noise allows for far clearer communication. Also suitable to be worn in work environments.

I am very impressed with the two pairs of earplugs I ordered and for the service provided.
I am not sure if you have any other autistic customers that use them to cope with oversensitive audio perception. I use my 29db plugs in busy places (towns, cities, super markets, train stations etc) and the 23db plugs in the office and sometimes at peoples house. They make a massive difference. I have more energy as my brain is not processing every noise that my ears pick up and its stops the overwhelming rises in noise levels that I suffer from which reduces sensory overload and anxiety.

Thank you very much for sorting this out for me, got the new ones and used them at the weekend and they are perfect no problems what so ever on a trip over 100miles nice and silent. So very much appreciate the effort that you went to in resolving my issues, a brilliant service.

I was fitted for my ear plugs at the BMF tail end show in September this year, and asked for a quick turnaround on them as I was going away on a long weekend on the bike with a group of mates at the end of the month. They arrived in time and I’ve been delighted with them, they are so comfy, so many thanks on a brilliant service.

I would like to thank everyone for their help in getting my order to me, following the recent confusion at the NEC. This really is a case of “You get what you pay for”. In this case that means an excellent product backed up by the highest level of customer service

Worth every penny!
I’ve been biking for several years now, and got chatting to a fellow biker who recommended these. I went ahead and purchased a pair a year or two back, and can say it’s revolutionised my motorcycling. No longer do I arrive half-deaf! These are awesome. Comfortable, easy process getting ear-impressions,. and quick delivery. They cut down the roar of wind significantly, so much so, that I never ride without them in.
They come with a little tube of ear-lube (I only tend to use this on longer rides, as it’s too much hassle, and I tend to just lick the earplug before inserting it – yuk!), a nifty storage case, a cleaning tool (I lost mine, but you can use an iPhone SIM-ejector-PIN instead, unless Ultimate fancy sending me a replacement tool…) and a couple of cleaning wipes.
Seriously, if you’re a biker, don’t ride without proper ear-plugs: these are custom made to fit. They feel weird at first, but after a few rides, you’ll not even notice them in. You only get one set of eardrums – why risk it?

This is my second visit with UltimateEars, my first having been bought/made in 2016, and the difference is astonishing.
The impressions are now deeper into the canal and include more of the external ear, and this creates a magnificent seal whilst being just as comfortable to wear. I commute 8o miles a day and use my helmet’s comm system for music, Waze SatNav, and for answering calls (usually only from my wife!). At 70 mph the wind noise is heavily reduced but comms is still audible.
My advice though – don’t think you know better than George in Sales (or anybody else at UE) and go for the 23dB filters as they make the low-end rumble really obvious, instead use the 29dB filters, that’s what they’re for.
My bad!
I also have the non-filtered squidgy ones, and they just make the world disappear, amazing quality.

I’ve been using those squashy foam ones that dont fit well for years. By contrast these work perfectly and are easy to put in, I should have bought them before.
